Lightweight structures for second floors

We use insulation and cold-rolled steel frames (galvanized) that are lined with fiber or gypsum cement boards, as well as sanitary, electrical, and hydraulic installations for our lightweight structures.

Light frame construction is an , clean, and resistant construction method that has a series of advantages compared to other construction models, for example:

  • Its flexibility allows for flat or curved constructions, on large or small surfaces and of different geometric shapes.
  • It supports the use of various types of finishes, such as paints, textures, and veneers.
  • Its versatility allows for the facilitation of collaborative and self-supporting coupling with other systems of construction.
  • Standardized and prefabricated components and materials are available, which helps to accelerate the construction times.
  • Because of the material’s resistance to rust, fire, water, and humidity, light frame construction is extremely durable. It is also resistant against rodents, insects, and other types of pests.
  • The lightweight steel plates and molded forms make it resistant to because they absorb movement better than rigid, heavy constructions.
  • It has acoustic and thermal controls. This is due to its insulating materials that limit external sounds and heat energy from passing through.

The above features work together to create a comfortable environment that is beneficial to all building occupants.

At Soldería CMH, we are experts at building lightweight structures for second floors as well as one-story residential or commercial buildings and office expansions. We can work on sloped or flat terrain and all our jobs are guaranteed for full satisfaction.
